I am an ex pupil of St Thomas More school and wanted to pass on my sympathy to Jimmy's family and friends. I didn't know Jimmy but everything I have seen and read about him since his tragic death tells me what an obviously top guy he was. On this the day of his funeral, may he rest in peace safe in the knowledge that his memory will live with his family and friends forever, as well as those like myself who never knew him but have been deeply moved by his death. I didn't know Jimmy or his family/friends but I felt really sad when i first heard what happened to Jimmy as it was such a tragic loss of life. His family have shown an amazing amount of courage and I am sure he is looking down on your today giving you the strength and love to help you get through this day.

My heart goes out to the whole family & friends. Jimmy seemed such a wonderful boy. I have a boy the same age with similar looks and it makes me shiver thinking this could be me or my family. This could be anyone and is someones family being torn apart daily by these thugs. No anger is not the way forward, but we do have to do something, and if we do all come together and make a stand we can make a difference.
